California Christmas - 2005

Over sweetrolls, coffee and mimosas (sp), Joan and I celebrated Chrismas the company of Deb, Mike, Allison, Olivia and brother, Jonathon. Deb had spent several days wrapping presents in the same way I remember our mother doing. That is, with an flair that probably was not appreciated by the opener!

Here are Deb, Allison, and Olivia enjoying a similar present.

The girls received a number of gifts that were keepers, and a few that will most likely be returned.
We were pleased that Jonathon was able to be with us for several days. He was working a job near Santa Paula and was able to come over Thursday and stay until we left on the 26th. We don't get to CA that often and he gets to MN even less so it was fun to spend time with him. He left with a case of oil and $50 from a local auto parts store.
Brother-in-law, Mike, received a nice sweater from the family and a tie from his office assistant. Mike is recovering well from the motorcycle accident he suffered in early November.
