3032 Remediation October 3, 2010 Update

Well we are about done with the remediation process. Tomorrow morning we are getting the MBR window stained and that is about it for the actual work on the house. We still have to put the downspouts back on the outside and we are getting an "apron" put on the front of the garage. (This "apron" is a four foot concrete extension from the garage floor out into the driveway. The purpose is to "bridge" the space between the footings and solid ground. This area has settled and is causing the driveway to cave a bit where it meets the garage floor.)

Following are what will probably be the final pictures of this process. The pics are not in any real chronological order, but that does not keep one from seeing what has transpired.

Stone used on front of house, pillars, and garage posts.

Front door with new color to match color in stone.

Example of new "working" louver in front gable. Similar louvers are above the garage and above the great room and four-season porch.

Here is the back of the house with the lights on.

This shows the front of the house with the new "tube" lights on the garage pillars
