Eddie and Beth Altherr Visit Minnesota

On July 1, Eddie Altherr and his new bride, Beth, flew from North Carolina to Minnesota for a short visit. They were introduced to many of the Smith clan and inspite of this, were still heard to say, upon leaving, they might even come back!

Upon their arrival, cousin Susie picked them up and gave them a short tour around Minneapolis and St Paul. They had lunch with Aunt Barb and that evening a bunch of us met up at the Twins game. Eddie and Beth stayed the night at our house and on Sunday morning we headed to the lake cottage to meet up with others for a day of sun and fun.















Nephew Kurtis Smith from CA and cousins Jeff Guy and Tom Cramblit spent a good part of the day in the pontoon chasing young ladies on jet skis. Sort of like a dog chasing a car, I think. But, they CLAIM to have caught a couple and even got a ride on the ski!

Near the end of the day, we took a pontoon ride around the lake to look at the cottages and mansions. Lets just say the 30 hp Yamaha motor had its work cut out for it!

Return of the Lost

It is not for lack of interest that we have not posted to our Blog in some months. It just seems like something gets in the way each time we think about it. I PROMISE to catch up soon, and maybe even get Joam to add something from time to time.
